McFarland Arrest

On December 8, 2019 at about 0140 hours the Worth County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Black 2000 Mazda Protege. The driver identified as Carrie Kathleen Veal of Rochester Minnesota and Jamie Carl McFarland of Mason City were both detained. The Deputy conducted a roadside investigation. McFarland gave false name and date of birth to hide his real identity. McFarland has numerous arrest warrants out of multiple Iowa counties. Both Veal and McFarland were arrested and charged with Interference with Official Acts. Veal was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Offense-Meth, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Offense-Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, and No Insurance. . All individuals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
