Alena Bangs Arrest

On 03/22/2018 at 11:46pm a Worth County Deputy was patrolling near Hanlontown. The Deputy was travelling north on Wheelerwood Rd. A vehicle travelling south came across the center line almost causing a head on collision with the Deputy. The Deputy made a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver was identified as Alena Jean Bangs. With further investigation it was determined Bangs did not have a valid driver’s license, or insurance. Bangs was also in possession of drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. Bangs was placed under arrest and transported to the Worth County Jail where she was booked in on the charges of driving in the wrong lane of a 2 lane high way, driving without a valid driver’s license, no insurance, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in the Court of Law.
