Amazon and Paypal Scam

On 7/22/2021 The Worth County Sheriff’s Office took report of a scam where individuals are receiving emails from an email address claiming to be Amazon or Paypall saying your package has been shipped and your card has been charged. These are false emails and if you are not expecting any sort of shipment do not open them. Emails like this are wanting you to open them and take action so they can get your information. We suggest you watch your accounts and contact your bank if you are concerned of your accounts being used.
