Pop Machine Break-ins

On October 8, 2018 the Worth County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Ver Helst Drug in regards to the pop machines located at their store had been vandalized and broken into. Upon arrival it was found that the one machine had been completely broken into and the money had been removed while the other machine showed signs of an attempt to remove the lock but were not successful. Later on the same day the sheriff’s office received a call from Fallgatters Market with the same complaint of someone attempting to remove the locks on the machines. These incidents are still under investigation and the Worth County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information into these attempted break ins call and report it.
